Tree decorating party, 5-7 p.m.

For children 6 and up! Annual tree-decorating party, with pizza and light dessert. Opportunity for parents to drop off children for a fun event.

Advent wreath making*

Pageant rehearsals begin

Noteworthies sing at Marblehead Christmas Walk, 12-1:30 p.m.

Saint Nicholas Night, 5:30 p.m.*
Activities, semi-potluck dinner, and carol sing

Gather for activities at 5:30 p.m.; dinner is at 6, followed by carol sing

Saturday, December 9

Annual Toy Sale, 9-11 a.m.
Volunteers needed for "elves' workshop" Friday, December 8, 3-7 p.m., to prepare for the sale, and at the sale itself on Saturday. This fun event helps many families provide holiday presents that they couldn't otherwise afford.

Advent Lessons & Carols, 5 p.m.
Hebrew and New Testament readings, interspersed with hymns and anthems, followed by a reception with finger foods and sherry.


Sunday, December 17

Bishop's visitation and baptism 
Visit from Bishop Alan Gates will attend both services, and help officiate at the baptism at the 10 a.m. service

WAYS TO GIVE DURING ADVENT

Give lotions and potions Place small containers of shampoo, toothpaste, etc., in the basket in the Guild Room, for donation to Lifebridge, HAWC (Healing Abuse, Working for Change), My Brother's Table, the Inn Between, Inn Transition, and other local nonprofits.

Assist with the Refugee Immigration Ministry to support a young mother and her toddler daughter who have immigrated to the area from Latin America. To contribute funds, visit gofundme.com/ welcome-the-stranger. For other ways to help, notify Steve Hahn or anyone else on the RIM team.
